LakeusWare

The first thing you need to know is that LakeusWare is not meant for the regular user, it is meant to be used by small and medium businesses. This inventory software will help the owner of a small business with keeping track of inventory and warehouse quantities. On top of that, the application lets the small business owner come up with purchase orders, issue receipts, and create invoices. All this is done from the application’s rather straightforward interface.

2.3MB is the lightweight size of the LakeusWare installation file; the good news is that such a lightweight download will complete in a blink. There’s nothing difficult about the setup wizard that shows up when you run the aforementioned 2.3MB file; with just a few clicks, you’ll have LakeusWare up and running on your PC (Xp, Vista, and Windows 7 are supported).

The main part of LakeusWare’s interface is taken up by a list of items. For each item you will see a code, description, quantity available in the warehouse, value, and other info. Select an item from the list and more info about it will be displayed in the pane to the right. Moving to the left, there’s a traditional file menu in the upper left hand corner and a bunch of buttons tied to LakeusWare functionality underneath.

When you add an item to the list you are asked to provide the following info: item code, item description, default purchase price, sales price, tax, unit, alarm level of warehouse quantity, supplier, warehouse, and items group. Do this for all the items in your inventory or warehouse and thus manage your merchandise with ease.

With LakeusWare you can also easily create purchase orders, receipts, invoices, and warehouse reports. You will find buttons for these functions in the upper left hand side.

There will be a learning curve to getting accustomed with LakeusWare. Check out the detailed Help file whenever you don’t understand how to do something. You have a total of 29 days at your disposal to use LakeusWare for free and get accustomed to the functionality it has to offer. Once this trial period is over, you will have to get a license to keep using the application.
